As UFC Inks Multi-million Crypto Sponsorship Promotion Deal.
In one of the biggest crypto promotional entrance into sports, crypto market place, crypto.com inked a 10 year, $175 million partnership deal.
Sources familiar with the deal noted that this will be UFC first global partnership deal. What this means is that this branding will appear on every UFC Fighter sports kits.
Expect to see Nigeria reigning UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman and Isreal Adesanya ( stylebender), reigning UFC Middle Weight Champion wearing crypto branded sporting kits for the next ten years, if they do not retire from the sports by then.
The highest paid athlete who is a UFC Fighter, O’Connor McGregor will be wearing crypto branded gear this weekend as he faces Dustin Poirier in Las Vegas.
On the deal, UFC COO Lawrence Epstein said, “If we had talked a couple of years ago, crypto might not have been on the radar, but it’s sort of a sign of the times.” On Crpto performance so far he observed , ” It’s new, but it’s moving quickly, and it’s very dynamic.”
Along with the fight kits, crypto.com will appear on the apparels the fighters walk in with and on the ones worn by their corner support team. It will appear on the octagon fighting floor and will be incorporated into all UFC medi channels.
