Stripe, an online payment processing solution for accepting payments with different payment methods, now including crypto across over 150 countries.  

Stripe is adding USDC on Base network to their crypto payouts product to enable Stripe platforms to make faster, cheaper money transfers to over 150 countries.

Stripe is also adding USDC on Base Chain network to their fiat-to-crypto onramp to enable customers in the US to convert fiat to crypto faster than ever.

The partner crypto company Coinbase is adding Stripe’s fiat-to-crypto onramp to Coinbase Wallet to allow users to buy crypto instantly with credit cards and Apple Pay onboarding billions onchain.

Stripe is the parent company of Paystack, a top payment processor popularly used across Africa and available around the world. Should Paystack also enable crypto payments, crypto adoption will also skyrocket in Africa with businesses accepting crypto for payments. 

What you should know: Stripe will now enable the ability of paying for products using crypto and particularly usdc stablecoin on Base Chain network.
