The All-Share Index (ASI) surged by 1.76% to close at 101,129.09, breaking the 100,000 and 101,000 milestones. Market capitalization also crossed N61 trillion, closing at N61.3 trillion, despite a 7.2% drop in trading volume.

Sector Highlights:

Insurance: +8.83%, led by Coronation Insurance and SUNU Assurances.

Banking: +3.23%, driven by Jaiz Bank and Zenith Bank.

Consumer Goods: +2.92%, fueled by Honeywell Flour Mills (+30%).

Oil & Gas: +0.99%, while Industrial fell by 0.86%.

MRS Oil Nigeria Plc: +36.36%

Eterna Plc: +32.36%

Honeywell Flour Mills Plc: +31.52%


Top Losers:

John Holt Plc: -18.67%

Multiverse Mining Plc: -18.58%

University Press Plc: -16.27%


Outlook:
