Quick Facts: Binance Smart Chain was launched on September 1, 2020. It is a blockchain that runs in parallel to the Binance Chain, a native blockchain protocol of the Binance exchange. It allows developers to build their own decentralized apps, while also taking advantage of the fast trading performance offered on Binance DEX (decentralized exchange).
An important advantage of Binance Smart Chain over Ethereum Blockchain is the reduced fee that is way too minimal compared to the outrageous fees on the Ethereum Blockchain for using DApps.
