The Zenith Tech Fair held in Lagos today was a big event exploring on different areas of the technology industry in Nigeria.
At the just concluded event at Land Mark Event Center in Lagos, Nigeria. Participants from various sectors of the industry were present at the event. The key areas of discussion as we previously reported were all addressed.
Mr. Dipo Faulkner, the Country General Manager, IBM Nigeria talking on “Artificial Intelligence and the Next Industrial Revolution”, said that AI is not a magic, it is nothing to be feared. It is a journey that can oy be successful with a proper Information Architecture and Data.
Country managing director of Oracle, Mr Adebayo Sanni talked on economic benefits of data and data monetization.
He said that Data is the new oil and that what we do with data, how we utilize it is the key to delivering shareholder values to our customers.

One of the notable appearances at the event is Mr Dapo Daniel Oyebanji aka D’banj an entertainment Mogul. He talked about CREAM, his new digital content platform.
CREAM is an entertainment platform aimed at helping growing talents in the music sector go grow and achieve their dreams.
“The aim of the conference is to support innovative and disruptive ideas from emerging startups in various areas like entertainment, agriculture etc using AI, Blockchain technology and so on.”

The platform will utilize various top notch technology like blockchain to help its platform grow and keep accurate records of its artists and participants.
He also encouraged the youths to take computer courses and be opportuned to benefit from the emerging technologies like Quantum Computing, and the rest.
