“Africa will define the future (especially the bitcoin one!),” — CEO Twitter, Jack Dorsey.
Blockchain Technology is growing Africa and many opportunities abound in this industry. Foreign investors are seeking to invest in the high potential economy of Africa. With the increase in venture capital flowing into Africa, there comes the need to build Africa for ourselves and our children.
According to the 2019 Africa Tech Venture Capital Report by Partech, Africa recorded a total of $2.02 billion in funding, with Nigeria accounting for $747 million followed by Kenya with a total of $564 million. Egypt recorded $211 million in funding while South is the last on the list with $205 million.
Many blockchain companies are contributing to the growth of the continent in many ways which no one recognises. This includes both individuals, blockchain companies, media outlets bringing blockchain awareness and other blockchain entrepreneurs.
In a bid to recognise these companies and individuals, Buidl Africa is powered by Cryptotvplus to recognize these efforts in Africa. Buidl Africa will help to recognize individuals and various products for their effort towards building the blockchain ecosystem in Africa.
