In its latest buying round, the business intelligence firm has acquired additional 19,452 Bitcoins valued at about $1.026 billion. The 19,452 Bitcoin was bought for approximately $52,765 per Bitcoin.

MicroStrategy has accumulated over 90,531 Bitcoin at press time. With the digital asset now trading at over $53,000, MicroStrategy’s Bitcoin stash is valued at over $3.7 billion.
The Company made a Press Release on the latest buy on 24th Feb 2021 followed by a tweet by its CEO @micheal_saylor in regards to the bitcoin purchase.

There is a maximum supply of 21,000,000 bitcoin and currently 18,636,931.25 bitcoins in existence. This number changes about every 10 minutes when new blocks are mined which when verified becomes a Bitcoin transaction and is then added to the blocks of the Bitcoin blockchain.
Right now, each new block adds 6.25 bitcoins into circulation.
