Blockchain Adoption is going tract in Africa and as such governments and organizations are planning on how to strategize and put together steps to ensure it’s smooth existence. So many start-ups has come to exist because of the existence of the new technology. Many individuals are exhibiting their capabilities in the sector in a way to utilize it and help in solving some human problems.
In view of this, the Blockchain Africa Conference which was previously held in Microsoft’s office in Bryanston will be held in South Africa, in Johannesburg and Cape Town respectively. The conference will have some influential dignitaries and personnel including CEOs, Investors, Government Officials etc. The topics to be discussed includes; embracing blockchain technology and its benefits, gain insight into current blockchain use cases, the regulatory environment and the concerns around performance, scalability and blockchain infrastructure. The theme of the conference is Blockchain Technology: Moving Africa Forward.

Behlendorf was a primary developer of the Apache Web server, the most popular web server software on the Internet. A founding member of the Apache Software Foundation. Among other achievements, the most recent being managing director at Mithril Capital Management LLC, a global technology investment firm.
