Farmbeats is an agricultural research platform with the aim of making the benefits of using artificial intelligence available to farmers.

FarmBeats tracks soil temperature and moisture levels with the use of solar-based cloud computing models. Solving the problem of guess work out of farming, making it accurate.

The idea is that artificial intelligence can be used to support farmers’ existing knowledge and experience. This will help farmers to make more effective decisions and increase yield so that more food can be produced at lesser cost.

Farmers are responding positively towards the new innovation according to Farmbeats. The platform is at the Africa Agri Indaba to create more awareness and seek more partnership to increase growth and adoption.

Farmchain is another platform in Nigeria offering agricultural production focused service. Farmchain is using blockchain tech to build a B2B and B2C food and farm production traceability dApp. Farmchain already has 30 tokenized farms in Nigeria.
