A Bitcoin entrepreneur on Twitter has sent out an SOS to all crypto traders, that the ledger app from Microsoft store contains malware capable of accessing users wallet.
The SOS tweet message from the handle @volker_btc reads, ” DO NOT DOWNLOAD THE LEDGER APP FROM THE MICROSOFT STORE. IT IS MALWARE!!!!! Someone I know just lost all his BTC. Dont do that!
The App asked for the seed phrase (backup phrase), which he entered several times (it was repeatedly rejected). NEVER, EVER TYPE YOUR SEED PHRASE INTO A COMPUTER KEYBOARD!!! NEVER!!!”
