The Africa Blockchain Lab, a a joint venture between Coinfirm, a global blockchain-based identity verification company which provides bank-grade AML/KYC compliance to blockchain and cryptocurrency companies, and KAD ICT Hub, Kaduna. The state-backed IT Innovation Hub was launched.
After the Launch of KAD ICT Hub in Kaduna in 2017. The state government backed company recently launched a Blockchain Hub which is the first Blockchain Lab Launched in Nigeria aimed at providing for the African Continent a home to companies and entrepreneurs building Blockchain-based products and services for the African community.
Grant Blaisdell, Co-founder and CMO at Coinfirm, explains:
“A Silicon Valley out-of-the-box solution approach has generally not worked in regions such as Africa; it requires a ground-up, organic approach.
